The Greenbrier Classic was a 2010 addition to the PGA Tour, and some of the best golfers in the world will be returning to West Virginia in 2011 for the second annual Greenbrier Classic. Built in 1924, the Greenbrier has played host to the Ryder Cup, the LPGA’s Solheim Cup, and Senior PGA Tour events in the past. Its iPhone application was created using AppMakr and launched in July 2010, just in time to show off live scoring, player information, event schedules, maps and directions, and a hole-by-hole description of the course.
