Looking to do mobile design work for one of the top app development shops on the East Coast? PointAbout is looking for a junior-level User Experience Designer who can work on pre-development visual design assets for high-profile consumer-facing and government clients. Our delivery team is comprised of superbly capable designers, developers, project managers, and QA professionals.
The right candidate will have prior experience designing native applications for the iPhone, iPad, Android devices, or other mobile platforms. Candidates should be comfortable in client-facing environments, including face-to-face meetings with clients. Responsibilities for the position include developing and documenting detailed user experience specs for interactive interfaces, working with product teams to translate business requirements into meaningful interactive experiences, and most importantly, producing user stories, personas, user flows, annotated wireframes, visual design, and design patterns for world-class user experiences for complex web and mobile applications. Candidates should be proficient using Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with OmniGraffle, Balsamiq, or Keynote is a plus.
