PointAbout in Fast Company…Again

« Return to previous page.

Tons of companies redefine business each year, using pure ingenuity to create new paths of innovation. The March issue of FastCompany has hit the newsstands, and it features “100 innovative Apple-affiliated achievers changing our life, our work, and our world.” PointAbout was one of the 100 companies listed whose success has been enabled by Apple’s transformation of the mobile ecosystem.

Other Top 100 Apple-related companies included traditional heavyweights Nike, Walmart, and AT&T; some of the tech nouveau (very) riche like eBay, Netflix, Amazon, and Foursquare; and some others like Kleiner Perkins, Flipboard, and Hipstamatic that it’s nice to be mentioned in the same breath as.

The strides we’ve made in the mobile space in the last few years have warranted some other accolades as well. PointAbout landed the No. 11 slot on the 2010 Lead411 Technology 500 list, and we’ve made the AlwaysOn 2010 Venture Summit Mid-Atlantic Top 100 Private Companies list two years running. We were also featured in FastCompany last October as the creme de la creme of a “new class of mobile developers.” Last but not least, the Disney iPad app we built was featured in Connected World Magazine, in an article that discussed the viable advantages kiosks have to offer.

So whether you’re thinking about building your first app or your thousandth app, chances are the experts here at PointAbout can help in some form or fashion.
