We’ve worked with Vivek Kundra often in the past, participating and winning 11 awards in the Apps for Democracy contest he held in his previous post as CTO of the District of Columbia.  Recently he spoke on data transparency initiatives, which will be very significant as mobile apps are built to hook into the new data being produced by websites such as Data.gov.  Below you can see a speech he gave at the Ritz Carlton in McLean, VA about these initiatives:
